DOUBLE HONOUR FOR RUGBY ACE FREDDIE

ICM Stellar Sports client Freddie Steward has been doubly honoured by his peers in the game.

The Leicester Tigers full-back was named Rugby Players Association’s Young Player of the Year as well as England Men’s Player of the Year.

The accolades cap a magnificent season for the 21-year-old who helped his club qualify for the Premiership finals as well as cementing his place in the England national team.

And Freddie’s achievements are all the more remarkable as he is currently combining his rugby career while studying for a degree in economics at Loughborough University.

Freddie said: “It is a big honour to win an award voted on by your peers. I feel humbled to win, given the talent in the game.

“To win these awards was an incredible feeling. It tops off a year full of incredible experiences in an England shirt that will stay with me and my family forever.”

ICM Stellar Head Of Rugby Elliott Hart said  “We always knew Freddie was destined to be a special player and his performances this season have been recognised by fans and players alike and are worthy of these awards.”
